The theme of my work is to represent a spatial depth or an atmosphere by capturing colors in nature or shading of light and, through “a certain incongruent sense” spectators feel when confronting my work, make conscious their usual unconscious recognition of space. A real sense in “the vagueness” where information about views is extremely eliminated. The slightly insufficient information arouses man’s memories and supplements further information. I wonder what man sees there, how man feels about that, or what man recognizes.  I hope that my artwork, which leads spectators’ viewpoint to a place where a false image and a true image overlap, will approach revelation of man’s potential work in perception and make viewers aware of it.
